This nursery refresh is a great example of how Fix & Finish Home Services brings together clean craftsmanship and timeless design to create a space that feels calm, elevated, and built to grow with your family.
We started with a design consultation and moodboard, helping define a warm, classic direction with rich green tones and subtle, traditional details. The goal was to create a space that feels cozy while still having character—and this palette really set the tone.
From there, we installed custom wall molding/paneling, carefully laid out for balanced spacing and a refined, built-in look. This added instant architectural interest and gave the room that custom feel. We followed with full interior painting, applying a smooth, even finish in this deep green across both the walls and trim for a cohesive, high-end look. We also installed new bi-folding closet doors, replacing the sliding doors for easier nursery access as well as a new ceiling fan.
We also handled all the trim and finish work, making sure every edge, seam, and transition was clean and seamless. Proper surface prep—including patching, sanding, and priming—ensured a flawless final result that will hold up over time. A fun addition and personal touch was the custom book shelf we made and hang on the wall.
To complete the space, we incorporated thoughtful finishing touches like art placement and styling guidance, helping tie together the warm wood tones, soft textiles, and classic accents. The result is a nursery that feels both functional and thoughtfully designed—perfect for everyday use while still feeling polished and intentional.
